Speciality Coffee is available as whole, freshly roasted coffee beans or can be ground to order, to suit your preferred method of brewing.

One of the worldโ€™s rarest coffees, Skybury is grown at an altitude of 1800 feet on Queenslandโ€™s Atherton Tablelands, an hour west of Cairns, and fed by the Mareeba irrigation system.

In growing Bourbon and Typica types, Skybury produces 80% of Australiaโ€™s coffee in a natural rainforest environment and with a limited spray policy, due to Australia being free from all the common coffee problems such as rust, coffee berry disease, Fusarium bark disease, and the coffee borer beetle.

All processing is fully mechanised with the systems for harvesting, sorting, grading and bagging meeting a high Quality Assurance Programme.

The wet factory can handle 4 tonnes of processed coffee per day, while the dried coffee is stored for 30 days before hulling to assure a consistent moisture content before being screened for size, bagged, and weighed before transportation.
