The Las Lajas cooperative is situated close to Lake Cuatepeque at 1250 metres above sea level.�

Founded in 1980 with 240 members, the co-operative aims to generate economic growth and social benefits for the community through production of coffee and other products.

All co-operative members benefit from the profits made. The coffee has soft floral flavours and is suitable for all day drinking.
